Ναι, καλά διαβάζεις! Η γνωστή ομάδα χάκερ “Anonymous” σχεδιάζει την «Επιχείρηση Facebook», σύμφωνα με την οποία θα επιχειρήσει να καταστρέψει το δημοφιλέστερο social networking site στον κόσμο στις 5 Νοεμβρίου 2011! Λέτε να τα καταφέρει και να μας κάνει να λέμε πάλι «Remember, Remember the 5th of November»;
Σύμφωνα με τους “Anonymous”, «Το Facebook παρέχει στους χρήστες μια ψευδαίσθηση ιδιωτικότητας, κρύβοντας λεπτομέρειες για το δικό τους καλό ενώ κερδίζει εκατομμύρια δολάρια από αυτούς. Τελικά, όλοι θα ευγνωμονούν τους “Anonymous” που σώθηκαν από το διαβολικό αυτό social network»!
Στο YouTube έχει ανέβει και σχετικό βίντεο με την ανακοίνωση των Anonymous, το οποίο έχει περισσότερες από 750.000 προβολές.
Δε ξέρω αν οι Anonymous έχουν όντως βάλει στο μάτι το Facebook και σκοπεύουν πράγματι να επιχειρήσουν να το καταστρέψουν. Θα έχει ενδιαφέρον να δούμε αν και τι θα γίνει, όπως επίσης και αν θα υπάρξει απάντηση από το Facebook, που ακόμη τηρεί σιγή ιχθύος.

The riots are underway. It is not a battle over the future of privacy and publicity. It is a battle for choice and informed consent. It’s unfolding because people are being raped, tickled, molested, and confused into doing things where they don’t understand the consequences. Facebook keeps saying that it gives users choices, but that is completely false. It gives users the illusion of and hides the details away from them “for their own good” while they then make millions off of you. When a service is “free,” it really means they’re making money off of you and your information.
